A Retarder Rotor comprises a series of strategically positioned fins or vanes that facilitate the dissipation of energy and the conversion of kinetic energy into heat. It is housed within a sealed chamber filled with transmission fluid. The internal fins or blades are made to optimize fluid flow and maximize energy absorption. The rotor also has passages for coolant circulation to manage heat generated during operation.

Applications:
A Retarder Rotor engages and rotates along with the drivetrain.
