A Lip-Type Seal is designed to provide a tight seal against the hub and bearing on a Clutch Brake, creating a positive seal to prevent the loss of lubricant and maintain proper lubrication into the bearing which helps to reduce friction and prevent premature wear as well as its ability to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh environmental conditions.

Attributes:

Has high tensile strength and abrasion resistance.

Applications:
A Lip-Type Seal is used to prevent the ingress of contaminants from the interface between the bearing and a hub on a Clutch Brake, mostly used in Cat® 25, 25, 125, 126, 27, 29, 29, 127, 128, 30, and 619, 630, 631 Cable Control, 35, 40, 50, D5, D6, D6R, D6B, D6C, D7R, D7, D7E, D7F, D7G, D8R, D8, D8E, D8F, D8H, D8K, R5 and R6 Track Type Tractor, 619B, 619C, 630A and DW20 Wheel Tractor Scrapers, 830M Wheel Type Tractor (For Dozer).
