Description:
A Sleeve Bearing has a cylindrical metal sleeve that is designed to support a rotating shaft. This sleeve bearing works by creating a thin film of lubricant between the rotating shaft and the bearing surfaces. The bearing is usually made of a softer metal.

Attributes:
• Handle high loads and provide good support to rotating shafts.
• Provides high shock absorption capacity, which helps to protect the rotating shaft from damage caused by sudden impact or vibration.
• Provides good resistance to thermal shock as it is made of graphite inside the bush.

Applications:
A Sleeve Bearing is used to facilitate motion between two components, and also reduce friction and absorb vibration, mostly used in Cat 583H, 583K, and 594H Pipelayer, D17000 Engine (Piston), D9H Track Type Tractors.
