An Extension Spring is a mechanical spring that is used to resist stretching or pulling forces. It is made from round wire and features hooks or loops on each end that allow it to be attached to other parts. When the Spring is pulled or stretched, it stores potential energy, which is released when the force is removed, causing the Spring to return to its original length.
Attributes:
• Provided with 2 hooks to connect the spring with the control lever and plate in the cabin frame
• Provided with a spring rate of 0.98N/mm after initial tension, which provides high stiffness to the spring
Applications:
An Extension Spring is used to provide the necessary force to return the control lever to its default position after it has been actuated. It allows for smooth and controlled movement of the lever and knob and ensures that it returns to its original position when not actively engaged.
