The Circuit Breaker protects electrical circuits and connected devices from damage caused by excessive current and faults. It serves as an alternative to traditional fuses and functions by automatically interrupting the flow of electricity when it detects an abnormal increase in current or a short circuit. it can quickly respond to changes in current. When the current passing through a circuit exceeds its rated capacity, a thermal mechanism within the circuit breaker triggers, causing the breaker's contacts to open and creating an air gap.
