A Muffler Gasket is a seal that fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally used to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. Gaskets are designed using the right combination of material and profile to deliver performance and application. A Muffler Gasket seals the connection between the manifold and the cylinder head. This prevents exhaust leakage out of the connection and also ensures that all exhaust gas will flow through the catalytic converter for treatment.
