A Defroster Rocker Switch is used to activate or deactivate the defroster, which helps to clear the windshield and other windows from fog, ice, or condensation, ensuring optimal visibility for the operator. It operates by rocking back and forth between two positions. It consists of a rectangular housing with a rocker-shaped actuator positioned in the center. The actuator is connected to an internal mechanism that controls the Switch operation.
Attributes:
• Provided with a Green LED of 12 Volt to indicate the switch position either on or off
• Allows the operator to adjust the duration of the defrosting process as needed
Applications:
A Defroster Rocker Switch enables the turn on and off of the defroster unit mounted to the windshield which consists of heating elements, these heating elements generate heat, which is then directed toward the windshield and other windows, effectively melting ice or evaporating condensation.
