A Brake Oil Pressure Switch is sealed to withstand the harsh operating conditions within the brake unit, including exposure to heat, vibration, moisture, and various chemicals present in brake fluids. It is a normally closed (NC) type, meaning that it maintains electrical continuity in its resting. When hydraulic pressure is applied, the switch opens the circuit and interrupts the flow of electrical current. The switch port opening is to be mounted below horizontally to provide condensation drainage.

• Provided with static proof pressure of 34500 kPa and burst pressure of 68900 kPa
• Provided with vibration rating 10 G, 18 to 500 Hz withstand vibration conditions

Applications:
A Brake Oil Pressure Switch detects the hydraulic pressure generated when the brake pedal is depressed. It serves as a sensor that provides feedback to the braking unit, such as the brake lights or anti-lock braking system (ABS).
