A Straight Sleeve Bearing is a sliding contact bearing in which the surface of the shaft slides over the surface of the bush. It consists of a cylindrical sleeve with a smooth inner surface that allows a shaft to rotate inside it with minimal friction. The oil grooves are cut into the plain bearing surfaces to assist in the distribution of the oil between the rubbing surfaces.

Sintered for improving strength and to enhance self-lubricating quality
Possesses high shock load resistance and minimizes vibration

Applications:
A Straight Sleeve Bearing is suitable for applications where press fitting into a housing bore is the most practical bearing retention method. Mostly used in Cat® 320B, 320C, 322B, 322C, 324D, 325B, 325C, 325D, 330B, and 330C Excavators, 621, 621H, 621K, 627, 627H and 627K Wheel Tractor Scrapers, GLS55 and GLS66 Work Tools.
