The Gas Spring is to facilitate the controlled opening and closing of the Hood. The Gas Spring consists of a sealed cylinder filled with pressurized gas, and nitrogen. This gas spring, also known as a gas strut or gas lift spring, employs compressed gas to generate force, allowing for effortless and smooth operation of the door. One end of the cylinder is attached to the cabin frame, while the other end is connected to the access door. Inside the cylinder, there is a piston with a piston rod extending outward.
