The Duo Cone Seal is designed to prevent leakage of fluids, such as hydraulic oil or lubricants, from the Piston Motor's internal components. It consists of two identical seal rings. The Duo Cone Seal functions by maintaining a secure and effective barrier between the high-pressure areas within the piston motor and the external environment. The two seal rings are installed in a face-to-face arrangement, sandwiching the sealing interface. The primary seal ring is usually held in place against the piston motor's housing, while the secondary seal ring is secured against the rotating piston shaft.

The Duo Cone Seal is used in the Propel Piston Motor Shaft and placed behind the Tapered Roller Bearing to prevent fluid leakage while accommodating movement and misalignment and also maintaining the integrity of piston motor parts.
