A Compression Spring is a type of helical spring that is mounted between the filter element and the filter base. As the oil flows through the filter element, the spring provides the necessary force to keep the filter element in place and maintain a tight seal between the filter element and the filter base. This ensures that the oil is properly filtered and prevents any contaminants from entering the hydraulic unit.
Attributes:

• Provides a total number of coils is 11.5 and active coils is 9.5 helping to maintain their shape and stability
Applications:
A Compression Spring is used in the oil filter valve to provide the necessary restoring force for the filter screen and valve to control the oil flow and to ensure proper operation of the oil filter in the hydraulic tank.
