The Circuit Breaker used to provide overcurrent protection for the electrical circuits in the Generator. It is made to self-interrupt the flow of current when it exceeds a safe level, preventing damage to the wiring, components, and units. It helps in detecting faults in the electrical circuits. When a fault occurs, such as a short circuit or ground fault, the circuit breaker quickly detects the abnormal current flow and trips, interrupting the circuit.
Attributes:
• Electrically operated circuit breaker allow remote operation to keep an operator away from the front of the breaker
• Has fast response time because of solid-state circuit breakers
Applications:
The Circuit Breaker providing overcurrent protection, fault detection capabilities to identify and respond to faults such as short circuits, ground faults, or other abnormal current flows of the electrical unit in the generator.
