The Governor Arm Lever transmits the movement of the governor mechanism to the throttle or fuel control system. As the governor senses changes in engine speed or load conditions, it adjusts the position of the governor arm lever. This, in turn, controls the opening or closing of the throttle or adjusts the fuel flow, regulating the engine speed to maintain a desired speed.
