An Engine Balance Drive Gear consists of gear, bearing, and counterweights strategically positioned to offset the rotational forces generated by the engine. It is located within the engine housing, adjacent to the crankshaft. It operates by utilizing the rotational motion of the engine to counterbalance the reciprocating motion of the pistons and other moving parts. The counterweights attached to the gears are carefully calibrated to provide the necessary balancing effect without adding excessive weight or bulk to the engine assembly.
