A Retractable Seat Belt is a safety component that automatically adjusts and retracts to secure occupants in their seats during movement. It consists of an Automatic Locking Retractor(ALR), Boot, Label, Gripper Tongue, Buckle Assembly, Web, Bolt, and Retaining Washer. The seat belt utilizes a combination of a retractor mechanism, webbing material, and a locking mechanism to restrain occupants and absorb energy during sudden deceleration. The seat belt's automatic retraction unit ensures that the webbing is always properly tensioned, providing optimal protection and comfort.
Attributes:
• Allows occupants to move and adjust their seating position within safe limits
• Allows for rapid tightening of the webbing, securing occupants in their seats during a collision and reducing the risk of injury
Applications:
