The Magnetic Pickup Propeller Speed Sensor is used to monitor the rotational speed of the engine propeller. It operates based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. As the target gear or rotating component with a magnetic insert passes by the sensor, it induces a voltage in the coil due to the change in magnetic field strength. This voltage signal is then interpreted by the machine's control unit to determine the rotational speed of the component.
