An Engine Turbocharger increases the power of an internal combustion engine by increasing the intake air pressure. It consists of parts like turbine housing, turbine wheel, compressor housing, compressor wheel, and wastegate. The Turbine housing houses the turbine wheel, which is driven by exhaust gases. The Compressor wheel is a radial fan with curved blades that draws in ambient air and compresses it before delivering it to the engine. The Waste gate diverts a portion of the exhaust gases away from the turbine wheel, limiting its rotational speed and preventing excessive boost pressure.

Applications:
An Engine Turbocharger is used to improve engine power output by increasing the density of the intake air. By compressing the air, a turbocharger allows more fuel to be burned increasing the density of the air intake.
