Description:
A Single Acting Piston Seal is designed to provide sealing in only one direction, typically from the high-pressure side of the piston to the low-pressure side. When pressure is applied to the high-pressure side of the piston, the sealing element is pushed against the cylinder wall, creating a seal that prevents fluid from leaking past the piston. When pressure is released, the sealing element returns to its original position, allowing fluid to flow past the piston in the opposite direction. It is placed in a seal housing or groove and pressed against the piston rod or cylinder wall.
