The Carrier Seal Ring creates a tight, leak-proof seal between the differential carrier and the differential case. This seal prevents the leakage of lubricating fluid, such as gear oil, from the differential, ensuring the proper lubrication and operation of the differential components.
Attributes:
• Prevents the escape of lubricating fluid, which is for maintaining the proper lubrication and performance of the differential gears and bearings
• Ensures that the differential components, such as the gears, bearings, and viscous clutches
• Exclude external contaminants, such as dirt, debris, and moisture, from entering the differential assembly
Applications:
The Carrier Seal Ring is used in the differential assembly placed in the carrier part to maintain the cleanliness of the lubricating fluid and protect the internal components from premature wear and damage.
