20R-8279: Cat® Reman Accumulator

Cat Reman reman accumulators such as part # 20R8279 used in mining and construction equipment store and release pressure as needed to stabilize machine-specific hydraulic systems, allowing the use of less powerful pumps. Examples include brake accumulators which enable stopping even when the engine is not running, oil-with-nitrogen accumulators which absorb and dampen road shocks, or blade accumulators which help maintain machine control and minimize blade damage when a blade strikes a fixed object.
