REQUIRED For Replacement labeled Engines, Long Blocks, and short blocks sold within the U.S. and U.S. Territories the engine core (i.e. old engine) that is removed MUST be returned to your selling Caterpillar dealer, so that they can return to Caterpillar  OR  destroy, as required by law. Proof of return or destruction will then be provided to the EPA and or California ARB if required. See PELJ1301 for additional details.

Description:
Cat Reman bare blocks such as 20R-3440 are ready to be built into your engine to get you back to work quickly. Cat Reman bare blocks are thoroughly cleaned to meet rigid cleanliness standards and inspected for cracks, erosion, or other damage. Block top decks are resurfaced to original specifications, crankshaft bores are standard size, and all new main cap bolts are included. Each unit includes all critical engineering updates, and is rigorously tested against original specifications, so you know you’re getting genuine Caterpillar reliability.
