A Hexagonal Socket Plug serves to close or seal the openings in the motor housing of the final drive assembly. The primary purpose is used to prevent the fluids from leaking out and protect them from external contaminants, such as dust, dirt, or moisture. It is provided with external threads that match the internal threads of the opening it is intended to be inserted into. It can withstand the loads and stresses that are exerted during operation.
