A Rocker Arm Shaft serves as a central support structure for the rocker arm levers. Positioned atop the cylinder head, this shaft houses the rocker arm levers and provides the axis around which they pivot. As the camshaft rotates, it pushes against the levers, which in turn opens and closes the intake and exhaust valves. The Rocker Arm Shaft ensures proper alignment and smooth operation of the rocker arm levers, allowing for accurate control of valve timing and lift during the engine's combustion cycle.
