The Charging Alternator Stator is used within the alternator and consists of a core made of stacked laminations and copper wire windings. As the rotor inside the alternator spins, it creates a changing magnetic field that induces an alternating current in the stator windings. This alternating current is then converted to direct current by the rectifier assembly within the alternator, which is then used to charge the battery and power the electrical unit.
