The Duo Cone Seal Installer Tool is precisely shaped to apply even pressure across the surface of the duo cone seal. This tapered design allows the tool to gradually and gently guide the seal into its proper position during installation, or to carefully remove the seal without causing damage to the surrounding components.
Attributes:
• Align the seal with the bore and use the driver to press it in until it is fully seated carefully
• Prevents tearing or deformation of the seal during installation
Applications:
The Duo Cone Seal Installer Tool installs the crankshaft rear seal and helps ensure the duo cone seal is properly aligned and seated squarely in the components or other mounting locations. Misalignment can cause leaks or uneven seal wear. The tool consists of parts like a pop rivet, latch plate, screw, and nut wing.
