A Torque Converter Splined Hub connects the turbine (also known as the impeller) to the transmission input shaft. It is located at the center of the torque converter and serves as the connection point between the engine and the transmission. When the engine rotates, the fluid within the torque converter causes the turbine to spin. The splined hub is splined with corresponding splines on the transmission input shaft, allowing the torque to be transmitted effectively from the turbine to the transmission.
