A Torque Converter Sensor Rotor is a slotted disc-shaped component located within the torque converter housing. It is positioned between the impeller yoke and the bearing retainer. The sensor rotor has teeth or slots machined onto its outer edge. These features interrupt a magnetic field generated by a nearby sensor, producing a signal that corresponds to the rotational speed of the torque converter.
