A Torque Converter Bearing Retainer is utilized to prevent the bearing from coming out or getting lost during the operation, ensuring that it remains securely in its intended position in the torque converter assembly. The retainer is installed with the torque converter output shaft which is subjected to vibrations, shocks, or other forces that could cause the bearing to come loose or fall out.
Attributes:
• Provides high damping capacity and toughness to absorb vibrations and shocks
• Provided with a mounting hole to fit the fastener of size 1/2"
• Direct hardened to Rockwell C scale hardness of 34 - 40 HRC to withstand the high level of shear force without deformation
Applications:
A Torque Converter Bearing Retainer is used to hold and secure the bearing in position to maintain proper function and alignment of the output shaft within the torque converter, preventing any unwanted movement of the bearing.
