A Double Flanged Grommet is provided with two flanges or rims on either side of the central hole. It helps to prevent damage, abrasion, or wear caused by friction, and impact. The double-flange allows for a secure and stable fit, providing enhanced protection compared to a single-flange grommet. It allows it to be securely mounted on both sides of the material, creating a durable and finished appearance while also preventing the material from fraying.
