A Spring Support Collar provides support to the springs and allows them to maintain proper tension and alignment. When the power takeoff clutch (PTO) clutch is engaged, the clutch release bearing pushes against the spring support collar, compressing the clutch springs. This action disengages the PTO, preventing power transfer to the auxiliary equipment. Conversely, when the PTO clutch is disengaged, the springs push against the collar, re-engaging the PTO and allowing power transfer to the equipment.
