The Slinger is to distribute lubricating oil to the various moving parts of the differential and bevel gear. This ensures smooth and efficient operation while minimizing friction and wear. It acts as a seal to prevent lubricating oil from escaping and contaminants from entering the differential and bevel gear housing. The slinger is strategically positioned between the gear components and the outer housing of the rear axle.
