A Compression Spring is used in between the brake piston and the motor head of the piston motor to support and ensure the proper functioning of the motor. It has a helical shape, consisting of tightly wound coils with gaps in between. This construction allows the spring to compress and expand under axial loading, exerting a force that opposes the compression. It is used to resist compression when a force is applied axially along its length. When a compressive force is applied, the coils are compressed and the spring stores the energy.
