An Insulation Gasket is a seal that fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally used to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. It is a polyurethane foam used in the evaporator coil assembly of the heater or air conditioner, enclosed by plate assembly and insulation, and generally used for insulation and vibration damping. These gaskets are designed using the right combination of material and profile to deliver performance and application.

Applications:
An Insulation Gasket is used to provide a secured seal for the evaporator coil in the cabin heater and air conditioner, preventing the ingress of dust or other contaminants.
