The Speed Control Throttle Cable is designed to transmit mechanical force from the accelerator pedal to the throttle body regulating the engine speed and equipment propulsion. When the operator presses the accelerator pedal, the cable pulls the throttle lever, which opens the throttle plate in the throttle body. This action increases the airflow into the engine, allowing more fuel to be injected resulting in increased engine speed and equipment acceleration.
