A Slotted Hexagonal Nut has six sides with a slot cut into one of the faces. The slot allows for a screwdriver or other tool to be inserted and used to turn the Nut. It provides a secure grip, which makes it easy to tighten and loosen the Nut using a wrench or pliers.
