The Differential Piston is positioned and oriented to interface directly with the differential gears. These gears are responsible for distributing the input torque from the machine's drivetrain to the output shafts connected to the left and right wheels or tracks. The differential piston's linear motion is directly coupled to the differential gears through a series of linkages and mechanical interfaces within the carrier housing.
Attributes:
• Provide with clearances to ensure a smooth, efficient, and leak-free fit within the cylindrical bore of the carrier housing
• Regulate the position and movement of the differential piston, and thereby control the differential action
Applications:
The Differential Piston is used with the differential carrier to efficiently transmit power to the driving wheels or tracks while maintaining precise control over the differential action.
