A Gasket is a seal that fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally used to prevent leakage from or into the joined components while under compression. Gaskets are made using the right combination of material and profile to deliver performance and application.

Applications:
A Gasket is used to seal the space between the push button switch and the engine enclosure, also used for packaging, noise, and sound reduction. It creates a strong barrier between the mating parts to ensure that the working fluid is not leaked from the system and no other contaminants are entered into the system.
