Description:
A brake hub is a component of a braking unit. It is typically located at the spindle and serves as the point of attachment for the brake components that create friction and slow down the rotation of the wheel. The brake hub is designed to withstand the high forces and temperatures generated during braking.
Attributes:
• Provided with 180 teeth for the internal involute spline and 102 teeth for the external involute spline
• Withstand 175 kPa of oil pressure
• Withstand high forces and vibrations during the operation
Applications:
A brake hub is used to protect the internal components and supports brake pads for braking, mostly used in Cat 776 Wagon, 776, 776B, 776C, 776D, 777, 777B, 777C, 777D, and 777E Truck (Incl Truck Tractors), and TH48 Powertrain (Powermodules, Trans, Tc).
