The Disc Shroud helps to enhance the effectiveness and reliability of the braking mechanism. It serves as a protective cover that encloses the brake disc (rotor) and related components within the parking brake. Its design consists of a circular or annular shape that matches the contour of the brake disc. The shroud is positioned around the brake disc, leaving a small gap between the two components.
Attributes:
• Provide 20 mounting holes to fit the fastener of size 1/2"
• Provides a barrier against external contaminants, such as dirt, dust, moisture, and road debris
• Prevents the accumulation of foreign particles on the brake disc surface
Applications:
The Disc Shroud is used in the Parking Brake by shielding the brake disc from environmental elements, the shroud helps mitigate the risk of corrosion on the disc's surface.
