The Charging Alternator Stator generates the electrical power for the machine's electrical system. The stator is the stationary part of the alternator that contains the windings where the electrical current is induced. The stator has a three-phase winding configuration. This means three separate windings within the stator are arranged 120 degrees apart. This three-phase design allows the alternator to generate a higher voltage and current output compared to a single-phase design.
