The Hoe Stick Lip Type Seal has a smaller diameter than the rest of the seal, allowing it to fit snugly into a groove on one of the mating surfaces. This ensures that the lip is positioned in the area where the sealing action is required. The stick lip seal is inserted into the groove, with the lip facing the mating surfaces. When the two surfaces are brought together, the lip of the seal is compressed between them.
