An Alternator Fan is integrated into the alternator assembly to maintain optimal operating temperatures. The fan's function is to draw ambient air into the alternator housing and expel hot air, thereby preventing excessive heat buildup that can reduce alternator efficiency. It features aerodynamically made blades that efficiently move air across the alternator's housing. The fan is securely mounted onto the alternator shaft and is powered by the engine's drive belt.
