The Piston Motor Spring is compressed and extended depending on the movement of the piston within the motor. When the hydraulic fluid applies pressure to the piston, the spring compresses to accommodate the movement, storing potential energy. When the pressure is released or reversed, the spring exerts force on the piston, assisting in its retraction or providing additional force to drive the motor.
